High Frequency / High Power Ultrasound

Due to a growing demand in high frequency power ultrasound, IMASONIC S.A. has developed a new transducer technology.

This technology, based on the use of piezocomposite materials, has been developed with the aim of manufacturing power transducers in the 200 KHz to 10 MHz frequency range.

These transducers have many attractive characteristics

• for implementation in the therapeutic domain using the high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) method

• for sonochemistry and other applications requiring high power and high frequency ultrasonic waves

All IMASONIC high intensity piezocomposite transducers are custom engineered to user requirements.
