| The Series BV2C Actuated Ball Valve is designed t withstand the toughest
environments. The BV2C incorporates a 316 SS 2-piece ball valve mountedddd to a pneumatic, spring-return
actuator. The actuator body is constructed of glass-filled polyester to provide optimum protection from
adverse environments and corrosive process materials. This actuated valve package is ideal for pharmaceutical,
chemical, food and dairy, or pulp and paper industries where metal actuators would not survive. The ball valve is a full port design for maximum Cv with minimal pressure drop. Body and endcaps are constructed of investment cast stainless steel, while the ball and stem are 316 SS. Seats and body seals are 15% glass reinforced Teflon® providing broad media compatibility and bubbletight shutoff to 1000 psig. Internally loaded, blowout-proof stem provides safety in the event of overpressure. The plastic actuator features concentric spring sets for adaptation to different air supply pressures. Dual rack and pinion design eliminates backlash and side loading. Double O-rings seal the 303 SS shaft providing increased corrosion resistance. The extended shaft can be used for manual override or permits the use of limit switches or positioners. The actuator includes an integral position pointer legible from a distance. Top shaft, solenoid block and accessory bolt circle conform to NAMUR standard. All mounting hardware and couplings are constructed of 316 stainless steel. PHYSICAL DATA VALVE Size: 1/4" to 2".
